John founded Harrington Earl Estate Agents with Steve Earl in 1999 with the intention of creating a boutique agency attuned to their clients needs. A smart corporate image was established offering fresh ideas and smart new approach which immediately made an impact on the inner Melbourne real estate market. Being without the constraints of a franchise John has been keen to follow his own path producing a string of outstanding results and winning customers with a peerless level of service.

Having been in the real estate industry since 1985 his passion is obviously property however he manages to combine this with his other loves - family, friends, travelling Australia and scuba diving to create a wonderfully balanced life.

Steve joined John Harrington in establishing Harrington Earl Estate Agents during 1999 bringing with him 18 years experience and a commitment to excellence. Steve's unwavering passion is to provide his clients with the very best result and ensure their complete satisfaction. His straightforward demeanour and no nonsense approach has made him a favourite with his clients who trust and respect his opinion.

A person of great commitment and passion Steve lives in North Fitzroy and is strongly involved in Rotary, the Fitzroy Football Club and the Fitzroy Bowling Club. With 2 sports mad children you may also see Steve in the Edinburgh Gardens having a vigorous kick of the football with Lochie (Lachlan) or shooting a few hoops with Melissa.

Simone has enjoyed a diverse real estate career spanning 8 years including property management, leasing and all things rental whilst also taking several years break to run a family business before returning to Harrington Earl as a valued member of staff.

With interests away from the industry including skydiving, golf and getting away for weekends, when time permits, Simone immerses herself in whatever task is at hand. With a commitment and ethos to customers and completing the job within the most reasoned time frame whilst ensuring fairness and equality for all parties concerned.

A part of Simone’s role is to guide junior staff through the procedural and systematic requirements of agency work to ensure they become competent and knowledgeable managers and represent Harrington Earl in the best manner.

An experienced property management professional, Lisa was an original staff member at the inception of Harrington Earl in 1999 and has thrived in a real estate career spanning over a decade. Returning to Harrington Earl in 2008 after working at 2 of Melbourne's larger estate agencies, Lisa offers her clients an excellent understanding of the intricacies of the property management process. Superbly organised, Lisa stays on top of every situation and ensures the best outcomes are always obtained for both landlords and tenants. An excellent communicator, she maintains strong relationships with clients delivering astute, straight forward advice. Lisa enjoys being part of a forward thinking property management team and is continually working to enhance Harrington Earl's reputation as an industry leader.

Enjoying the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, Lisa completes a number of personal training sessions each week and enjoys running, yoga and travel.

Determined to build a successful career in the real estate industry, Rachael joined Harrington Earl in 2006 as a receptionist and has worked her way through to now becoming a well respected and diligent property manager. Having had a successful marketing company before the birth of her children and being the patient partner of Steve Earl for over 22 years, Michelle has never been too far away from real estate having been Steve's 'sounding post' for as long as she can remember. At the beckoning of Steve, Michelle re- entered the workforce in mid 2006 and has proved to be a vital member of the Harrington Earl team. Friendly, hard working and with a flair for numbers, Michelle has revelled in the responsibility of handling the Tenancy Trust Accounts on behalf of the company. Michelle ensures that the monthly statement is prepared in accordance with our client's instructions and that financial reports are prepared promptly in July so that each client can attend to their taxation obligation in their own time.

You'll most likely see Michelle ferrying the children between sporting commitments, working away at Hurl's Gym on the treadmill or dining with her husband Steve at their favourite local eatery.

Commencing her real estate career with Harrington Earl as our diligent and reliable receptionist in mid 2007, Sarah has recently been promoted to assistant property manager continuing our company's strategy of developing and educating our valued staff from within. Thriving on the extra responsibility afforded to her, Sarah has become an integral part of our management team as it continues to grow steadily due to its reputation for excellence.
